MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Do you have previous experience operating a machine and are you looking for a job that could lead to a permanent contract after a probation period? If so, get in touch with me today.

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a well established business in Telford. This job is working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week) with a starting rate of pay between £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (DOE).

Previous experience working with wood or timber would be preferred, but this is not essential. The role can be physically demanding and we are looking for someone who is prepared to get stuck in and help within other areas of the business as or when required.

What You Will Do

• Operate and set wood routing CNC machines with precision and efficiency.
• Load raw materials and ensure machines are prepared for smooth operation.
• Inspect and measure parts post-production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work from and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records and perform routine maintenance on the machinery.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while completing all supporting paperwork.
