Job description

Beam Saw Operator required by small independent High Wycombe based company supplying wood based sheet materials to a very diversified customer base. Your day‑to‑day role would involve operating our Homag Beam Saw and occasionally our Homag Single Sided Edge Bander. Experience is ESSENTIAL, but of course training on our specific machines will be given. A forklift license would be beneficial but not essential as again, training can be given. You will need to live within easy commuting distance of High Wycombe. Candidate must be able to multi‑task, think and work at a high pace, work closely with others as a team, and maintain a positive attitude. You will need to be able to clearly communicate and be transparent when mistakes are made, as there will be. Must be responsible, take pride in work, detail oriented, and have good attendance. A probation period of 2 months is essential to ensure you gel well with our team.

This is a full‑time position:

• Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm
• Friday 7:30am-1:30pm (but paid till 4:30pm).
