Qualifications

2 Positions available, Permanent, Term Time Only, Part time - 5 Hours per week (1 hour per day). TPLTSS1 £2,821 (actual salary).

The Priory Learning Trust (Somerset Business Award winner for Employer of the Year 2023) is looking to recruit two Lunchtime Supervisors to work within our Speech & Language Base at our Castle Batch Primary School Academy in Worle. This position is for five days a week (Monday - Friday) from 12 : 10 - 13 : 13 : 10.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate, and supportive individual to join our school. This role involves supervising and interacting with children during playtime, promoting healthy eating habits, recognising positive behaviour and social skills, and fostering meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee children at lunchtime and lead play activities.
  • Listen to the children and encourage their play, but also has the necessary skills to maintain discipline in the playground.
  • Promote student well-being by encouraging them to develop good relationships with others, develop their self-reliance and self-esteem.
  • Help children to practice good standards of personal health and hygiene.
Key Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
  • Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • First Aid qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with children desirable but not essential.
