Job Overview

Role: Service Ops Engineer – Telecom OSS

Location: London, UK

Job Description

In the role of Senior Developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in Telecom Domain Service Ops, Data Migration/Transformation projects
  • Strong experience in PL/SQL Development and Database maintenance, Performance Tuning
  • Expertise to develop ETL pipelines
  • Able to design and develop Migration Engine using ETL tools
  • Should be able to Build ETL infrastructure
  • Hands on building REST API based solutions
  • Good knowledge of Telecom Domain(OSS/BSS)
  • Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals
  • Expertise in working in Agile model
  • Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
  • Should be able to understand customer requirements and convert it into technical aspects
  • Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods
  • Awareness of latest technologies and trends
