Logistics Supervisor. Location: Greenford. Pay Rate: £13.94 per hour. Contract: Full-time, permanent.

Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Logistics Supervisor to join their warehouse team.

Purpose of the role: Reporting to the General Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Supervisor will support daily warehouse operations by supervising staff, overseeing stock control, and ensuring smooth delivery processes. This role is approximately 85% hands-on and 15% administrative, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, fast-paced environment while also maintaining accurate systems and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery shifts, delegating tasks and supporting the team to meet targets.
• Check and file all delivery invoices, reporting any shortages or overages to management.
• Manage inbound stock, ensuring accurate unloading, storage, and organisation of deliveries.
• Oversee outbound operations including transport arrangements, third-party courier communications, and truck loading.
• Maintain stock systems, ensuring all transfers are processed accurately and warehouse areas remain well organised.
• Support with identifying faulty goods for write-offs and minimising stock loss.
• Work with management and merchandising teams to monitor stock levels using company reports.
• Assist with stocktakes and promote “handle with care” treatment of all products.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous supervisory or management experience within a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of stock control systems and reporting.
• Effective communicator with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing warehouse priorities.
