Logistics Supervisor Goods in Electrical Cannock

Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a fantastic role available in the Cannock area for a Logistics Supervisor / Stores Supervisor within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with extensive team leading experience within a manufacturing environment. This role is deputy to the Logistics Manager and so would be working very closely with them.

The company have an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. The company have a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!

As Logistics Supervisor / Stores Supervisor you will be:

  • Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP
  • Managing a team of 15
  • Conducting daily team meetings
  • Building relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Escalating any issues
  • Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to
  • Investigating any accidents in the area
  • Dealing with any quality concerns
  • Ensuring stock is located in a timely fashion
  • Working closely with the purchasing department
  • Stock taking using the ABC method
  • Rewarding team performance
  • Highlighting any areas of coaching the need addressing
  • Monitoring absence
  • Other duties as required

The working hours for this Logistics Supervisor / Stores Supervisor s role are:

Mon Thurs 7.15am 4.45pm

Fri 7.45am 11.45am
