A leading food company in the United Kingdom is seeking a logistics change professional to lead the Group Logistics change programme. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring that all projects are executed to quality, cost, and time standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management and the ability to inspire multi-site teams to achieve challenging targets, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.
PURPOSE & IMPACT: This role is known for leading the Group Logistics change programme and full project life cycle from conception through to delivery, ensuring all change activity is delivered on time and in budget in the cluster. Cross functionally managing the implementation of all logistics change activity that is outlined in the logistics strategic plan, covering programme governance as well as ensuring all projects are completed to the required standard across all clusters and markets. Ensuring our internal and external teams work in a consistent and effective way that meets the needs of business., Role models and champions the One Nomad way ensuring mindset, behaviours and actions in the logistics organisation embody our values. An agile and collaborative leader with the ability to actively build networks across the markets within the cluster, functions and CoE's (Centres of Excellence), challenging and leading our teams to evolve and clarify their current culture and ways of working. EXCELLENT EXECUTION Implementation of the strategic change programme and projects in the cluster that underpin the logistics strategy, ensuring that all change activity meets the needs of the business from a quality, cost and time perspective whilst ensuring that we meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. Manages the execution of the in-year change agenda in conjunction with the local logistics teams. CUSTOMER EXECUTION Ensures all logistics project and change activity is implemented across the cluster and executed to the required standards (quality, cost, time). Works with key stakeholders across the markets, central teams and CoE's to ensure awareness and support for the logistics strategy and associated projects. Represents cluster logistics in the relevant decision-making forums both internally and externally. STRATEGY PLANNING Inputs into the broader Group Logistics strategy and supports the development of the in-year and 2-5 year plan. Supports the strategy communication to relevant internal and external stakeholders. Accountable for ensuring a 'One Nomad' way of working across the cluster. Manages all change activity through effective programme management ensuring regular check points and updates to key stakeholders.
We need someone who is an experienced logistics change professional. Able to motivate and inspire people to deliver against challenging targets. A skilled project and programme manager with operational understanding of large-scale logistics operations. A strong change agent with excellent people management and influencing skills as well as the ability to leverage stakeholder relationships to implement change.
