Job summary

A global networking solutions provider is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping requirements for the MENA region. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English, with at least 1 year of logistics experience. The role involves ensuring compliance in shipping documents, coordinating with teams and customers, and tracking shipments. This is a fully hybrid position and can be based anywhere in the UK, preferably Northern Ireland, on a 12-month rolling contract.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent (written & oral) in Arabic and English.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics.
  • Experience with MENA logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review shipping documents for compliance before shipment.
  • Confirm shipping details with order fulfilment teams and customers.
  • Ensure necessary country approvals are in place prior to shipping.
  • Track shipments and liaise with carriers in case of delays.
  • Maintain accurate shipment location and inventory data.
  • Coordinate with carriers for delivery to customers.
  • Update order management systems with shipment details.

Job description
Responsibilities

Working for a global leader in networking products, you will be responsible for the logistics requirements for the Middle East & North Africa region.

Please note, you must be fluent (written & oral) in Arabic & English with the rite to work in the UK as visa sponsorship will not be available for this role.

This role is fully Hybrid, and can be based anywhere in the UK, but preferably in Northern Ireland. This will be a 12-month rolling contract.

Working as part of a global Logistics team you will be responsible for :

  • Review and screen pending shipping documents for compliance prior to releasing shipments over to carriers.
  • Work closely with the order fulfilment teams and end Customers to confirm details on the shipping documents before releasing the shipment over to the carrier for transit.
  • Ensure that all relevant import / export country approvals are in place prior to shipping (including NTRA regulatory approvals), typically screening on average 3-4 shipments per day.
  • Tracking all shipments to their end destinations, internally escalating and liaising with carriers in the event of delays or requests for additional information.
  • Ensure inventory and shipment location (warehouse) information is accurate.
  • Liaise with carriers to ensure delivery to customers in country.
  • Update order management system with order “close out” details (using Oracle).
Required Criteria
  • Arabic language skills (fluent, both written and verbal)
  • English language skills (fluent, both written and verbal)
  • 1+ years Logistics background
  • Extensive experience of Egyptian import processes including FORM 4 requirements
  • Extensive experience of Saudi Arabia import processes including SABER requirements
  • Middle East / Northern Africa (MENA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) re : Logistics processes (import / export) and required paperwork
  • Degree of flexibility to meet demands of business during peak quarterly shipping cycles
