Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Coordinator to work for one of the leading distribution machinery packaging companies in the UK. We are seeking an organized and proactive Service Coordinator to support a busy team of 9 engineers. You will be responsible for managing service orders, scheduling planned maintenance, tracking parts and purchasing, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure a seamless end-to-end process.

Logistics Coordinator - Bromsgrove

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Hybrid Working: 1–2 days WFH after training

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, negotiable pension

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be the main point of contact for engineers regarding jobs, parts, and schedules
  2. Manage and prioritize service orders, including re-bookings and reactive changes
  3. Liaise with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, purchasing, customer service)
  4. Ensure planned maintenance is scheduled and followed up correctly
  5. Track the movement and availability of parts to avoid delays
  6. Maintain accurate records in the system and support service reporting
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a coordination or service admin role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and manage priorities under pressure
  • Good IT skills – comfortable using service/order management systems
  • Confident working with multiple teams and managing expectations
