A leading logistics provider is seeking a permanent, full-time Logistics Co-ordinator & Load Builder to join their team in Newport, Wales. The role involves planning UK road loads, managing urgent delivery requests, and maintaining strong communication with customers. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and ideally have some experience in logistics. Full training on SAP will be provided. This position offers a competitive salary of £27,000 – £31,000 per annum, with additional benefits including holiday allowance and a company pension.
Logistics Co-ordinator & Load Builder – Spider is advertising on behalf of our client who is seeking a permanent, full-time role to join their team based on‑site in Newport, Wales.
They are a leading logistics provider working with some of the world’s largest and best‑known brands. Operating across 20+ locations in 13 countries, they deliver efficient and reliable transport solutions by road, rail, and sea. As part of a larger company – one of the largest global logistics companies – they play a key role in enabling international trade in the 21st century and beyond.
As a Logistics Co-ordinator & Load Builder, you will play an essential role in supporting their key customer, Tata Steel. Working on‑site, you will be responsible for creating and planning UK road loads within their SAP system, ensuring all delivery plans are met, loads are optimised, and urgent requests are handled efficiently. Working hours for this role are 40 hours per week.
As a Logistics Co-ordinator & Load Builder, you will be organised, proactive, and confident in managing your own workload. Strong communication skills and excellent customer service are essential. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a logistics role, along with good IT and numeracy skills. Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided. Knowledge of UK geography and health and safety awareness would also be beneficial.
