The Role

You’ll lead our Australian logistics operations while collaborating with commercial teams and international offices to deliver cost-effective, customer-focused shipping solutions. You’ll manage end-to-end logistics, negotiate rates, build provider relationships, and drive innovation in our freight strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure competitive rates and contracts across key regions: Australia, Asia, Türkiye and Europe
  • Build and manage relationships with forwarders, carriers, hauliers, and warehouses
  • Lead the full logistics process from booking to delivery
  • Develop rate sheets and pricing tools to support the commercial team
  • Provide forecasting and strategy insights to leadership
  • Improve SOPs, reduce costs, and challenge inefficiencies
  • Contribute to ERP and data initiatives to enhance performance
  • Mentor and train staff on shipping regulations and processes
About You
  • Strong understanding of forwarding and logistics, particularly ocean freight
  • Confident managing teams and driving performance
  • Skilled in negotiating, problem-solving, and building provider relationships
  • Able to manage the full logistics process from booking through to delivery
  • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and departments
  • Highly analytical, organised, and solutions-oriented
  • Strong communicator, fluent in English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Experience in business development or financial analysis is a bonus.
