Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a medical professional to join their red cell team. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care for patients with red cell disorders. The candidate will attend clinics and support research while fulfilling GMC registration requirements. The position offers a salary range of £109,725 to £145,478 per annum, with a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Candidates requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Evidence of diagnosing and treating red cell disorders.
• MCEM/MRCP(UK)/MRCS or equivalent qualifications required.
• FRCPath or equivalent qualification is necessary.
• Evidence of postgraduate research is a must.

Responsibilities

• Attend up to three red cell clinics per week.
• Provide direct care to inpatients with red cell disorders.
• Attend the weekly red cell MDT meetings.
• Support research in areas identified by the Clinical Lead.
• Deliver approximately 8.5 programmed activities per week.

Ability to use IT programmes for clinical and research

Teaching clinical trainees

Education
