A NHS healthcare provider in Guildford is looking for a Full Time Locum Consultant in General Surgery, specializing in Colorectal Surgery for a one-year term. The role involves supporting emergency surgical services, conducting outpatient clinics, and collaborating with oncology teams. Applicants must hold an FRCS (Gen) or equivalent and be GMC registered. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time (10PA) Locum Consultant in General Surgery, with a specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery, at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, Guildford for a fixed period of 1 year. The successful appointee will provide support for the emergency general surgery service and work alongside the established team of five colorectal surgeons as well as the wider General Surgical consultant body. The Colorectal Unit here has a national and international reputation in a number of areas of colorectal practice. The main expectation from this appointment are as follows:
Applicants must be in possession of the FRCS (Gen) or equivalent qualification, and be fully registered with the GMC.
