Locum Assistant Principal Lawyer - Housing and Litigation | London Local Authority | Locum Contract | Hybrid

A large and well-established local authority in London is seeking an experienced Housing and Litigation Lawyer to join them on a locum basis as an Assistant Principal Lawyer of the Housing and Litigation team. With this being a senior level role, hybrid working is required, with office attendance up to 2 times a week.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Principal Lawyer in the running and development of the Housing and Litigation team, including deputising in the Principal Lawyer's absence where necessary.
  • Manage 4-5 staff members.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive)
  • Extensive housing and/or litigation experience
  • Management experience
  • Experience working in local government or in a firm that deals with such work (strongly desirable)
