About this job

This lovely family based in Cardiff, Wales, is seeking a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their toddler and school-aged child while maintaining a clean and organised home.

The role includes all general nanny and housekeeping duties.

They are looking for a reliable, full-time Nanny-Housekeeper or Au Pair, either live-in or live-out, with a start date in early December 2025.

The ideal candidate will be confident in preparing healthy meals, including Asian cuisine, and must be a driver with their own car.

Evening support may occasionally be required, as one parent has a hearing impairment.

Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Hindi or Telugu is a bonus.

A valid first-aid qualification is required.

Working hours: 5 to 6 days per week.

Typically Monday to Friday, flexibility to work weekends would be required.

Working hours to be discussed with the family.

Accommodation: double bedroom and shared bathroom.

Duties
  • Supporting daily routines, including hygiene, meals, and sleep.
  • Assisting with learning, homework, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Engaging the children in play and recreational activities.
  • Performing general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and bed‑making.
