An experienced live-in sole charge Nanny is required to assist a professional couple with their 2 year old son. They are looking for someone who is available to start ASAP.

The family are awaiting for a new addition to arrive in September, so have decided to reside at their country home in the Cotswolds until then. The ideal candidate must be comfortable to live in and isolate with them.

Ideally you should possess the following:

  • Someone who is caring, engaged, diligent, hard-working and has a flexible attitude to hours.
  • Previous experience as a Nanny, ideally with some formal training such as Montessori, EYFS or similar.
  • A career Nanny.
  • Someone who holds either aUK or European passport that would entitle them to work in the UK and Europe without restriction.
  • A very good level of English required - Language development is important to the parents, therefore fluency in English would be preferred.
  • A good level of education.
  • Confident in navigating their way around London for the various learning activities and playdates.

Duties will include:

  • Full care of toddler, ie attending to feeding, bathing, etc.
  • Responsibility for baby’s laundry and baby’s room.
  • Taking toddler to nursery and picking him up from nursery.
  • Able to keep a diary and/or notify parents of school activities, medical appointments, developmental changes when needed.
  • Taking toddler to various activities ie swimming, clubs and playdates, etc.
  • Generally helping with development and education of the toddler.
  • Cooking of homemade, healthy meals for the toddler. Some food and general shopping related to the toddler.

Please note: The family employee a daily Housekeeper who covers household tasks. This role does not involve housework duties, but will include grocery shopping and cooking/baking for the child’s needs, cleaning his spaces and toys, as well as doing his laundry and ironing. The couple will also be employing a Maternity Nurse/Nanny for the first 3-6 months. After that, you will be required to help assist the mother with the baby.

Additional requirements:

  • Basic first aid (or willing to undertake accredited training at employer’s expense).
  • Drivers Licence - but not essential.

Accommodation: Lovely accommodation is provided

Working days: Monday – Friday (babysitting desired, up to two nights a week and occasional support over the weekends - for additional pay)

Working hours: 11 hours a day (roughly 8.00am – 7.00pm)

Travel: overseas travel will be required, the family have homes in several locations

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000. This will be depending on experience.
