The Role
  • Working on a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, director and shareholder issues, professional negligence and injunctions
  • Advising clients clearly and confidently, ensuring their objectives are met while maintaining strong service standards
  • Managing all aspects of client relationships, from instruction to billing
  • Preparing, reviewing and drafting legal documents for hearings and substantive matters
  • Developing litigation strategies in collaboration with senior colleagues
  • Ensuring full compliance with file management processes and regulatory requirements
  • Handling cases proactively from start to finish, providing clear updates to senior team members
  • Supporting the wider dispute resolution team and contributing to its ongoing growth

  • A solicitor with around 1–4 years’ PQE in commercial dispute resolution
  • Able to handle straightforward matters independently while seeking guidance where needed
  • Confident in identifying relevant legal principles and applying them effectively
