Job Description

The overall purpose of the role is to process, monitor and manage litigation cases, including providing representation at court, focusing on Housing Management Litigation and disrepair. Managing legal matters relating to:

  • ASB cases
  • claims for possession
  • disrepair claims
  • Leasehold Management
  • service charge disputes
  • debt recovery
The Successful Applicant

You'll be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister (qualified to practice in England).
  • Experience in all types of housing litigation, including ASB cases, claims for possession, disrepair claims, Leasehold Management, service charge disputes and debt recovery.
  • Experience of advocacy in courts and tribunals.
  • Ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard, including excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working in a housing association or public sector body.
