Job summary

A leading international law firm is seeking a Managing Associate Lawyer in London. The role involves handling a variety of disputes including professional negligence and securities litigation. Candidates must have over 6 years of PQE and demonstrate strong case management skills. This is a hybrid position to start in mid-September, with a contract length of 6 months.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in law.
• Experience in handling diverse dispute types.
• Proactive and skilled lawyer ready to excel.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad mix of dispute types including partnership and shareholder disputes.
• Run client matters with minimal assistance from Partners.
• Lead and supervise junior team members under Partner supervision.

Our client, an international law firm with a leading litigation and private client practice, is looking for a 6+ PQE Lawyer to join their team as a Managing Associate.

• Working on a broad mix of dispute types including partnership & shareholder disputes, professional negligence, sanctions/state immunity, securities litigation, shipping and international trade among others, across a range of sectors including:
• Asset & film finance, Betting & gaming, Aviation, Construction, Hardware & software, Oil and gas, and Telecommunications & technology.
• Excellent case management skills and can run client matters (or parts of larger matters) with minimal assistance from Partners.
• Ability to lead and supervise more junior members of the team under supervision from the Partners.
• Location: London
• Remote/Hybrid/In office: Hybrid
• Start date: Early/mid-September start
• Length of assignment: 6 months
• PQE range: 6-15PQE+
• Budget: Depending on PQE
