Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Experience managing secure production environments.
• Ability to respond rapidly to incidents and outages.

Responsibilities

• Fix Linux/Unix incidents and outages.
• Perform monthly server patching and security updates.
• Monitor production systems and respond to critical vulnerabilities.

Skills

Strong Linux admin (RHEL / CentOS / Oracle Linux)

Patching with yum/dnf, kernel updates & safe reboots

Troubleshooting CPU, memory, disk, network, services

Log analysis using /var/log and journalctl

Bash scripting for small automations

Understanding of security patches & CVEs

Experience in live production support

Worked with ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred)

Able to work to SLAs and follow change control

Active SC or eligible to obtain SC clearance

• Basic infra tasks (server/printer registrations etc.)
• Update tickets, changes and evidence in ServiceNow

Must have skills
