Perimeter College invites applications for a Limited-Term Instructor of Geology. The Limited-Term instructor positions are non-tenure track appointments offered on a semester by semester basis which may be renewed up to four (4) semesters. This is a teaching-focused position where 100% of the workload is instruction. Limited term instructors are responsible for providing 18 credit hours of instruction per academic semester (spring or fall) and maintaining weekly office hours.

Perimeter College faculty maintain a campus presence, and the successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to early undergraduate teaching and learning, and the ability to thrive in a highly diverse academic setting. Perimeter College is a multi-campus institution therefore the teaching assignment may be on any of the college's campuses.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience	A Ph.D. in the teaching field is preferred. College teaching experience. One year is preferred and can include experience as a teaching assistant at a college or university. Experience teaching online asynchronous and/or synchronous and using a distance learning platform. Experience or demonstrated interest in high-impact educational practices, scholarship of teaching and learning, building college-to-career linkages, and/or other pedagogical initiatives that enhance student success.
