Coulport is part of HM Naval Base Clyde, where Babcock delivers highly specialist engineering and facilities services in partnership with the Ministry of Defence. Your work will help maintain mission‑critical capability for the Royal Navy.
As a Lifting Equipment Examination and Testing Specialist, you’ll take ownership of written schemes of examination and conduct thorough examinations on lifting appliances and equipment, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and operate safely and reliably. Your impact will be tangible: enabling safe operations, extending asset life, and strengthening the resilience of defence infrastructure — all while growing your expertise in a purpose‑driven environment.
Day‑to‑day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
You’ll be working full‑time, Monday to Thursday, 36 hours per week. You will be based onsite at Coulport.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
