The company

A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.

The role

As the site Lift Supervisor you will be responsible for

  • Ensuring that lifting operations comply with project specifications and industry regulations
  • Planning and executing lifting operations in consultation with other team members
  • Ensuring that the lifting team is trained and competent
  • Investigating and reporting any accidents or incidents related to lifting operations
  • Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring weather conditions and making appropriate decisions to postpone or continue operations
  • Documenting all lifting operations and maintaining an accurate record of the same
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures for all lifting operations
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of the lifting team
  • Inspecting and ensuring the proper maintenance of lifting equipment and gear
About you

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience essential
  • You will have a CPCS or NPORS
  • Strong work ethic in a team
  • Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
