Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to ensure airworthy and serviceable aircraft for national security operations. This full-time position requires specific technical knowledge, supervisory experience in aviation, and an EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence. Responsibilities

  • Carry out aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with civilian legislation and company approvals.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to deliver safe aircraft.
  • Supervise and guide team members to maintain safety standards.
  • Drive operational excellence and uphold reputation for quality.

Skills

Specific technical knowledge in aircraft engineering
Strong understanding of customer and contract partnerships
Supervisory experience in a Civil / Military Aviation environment
Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
Full UK driving licence

Education

EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence
Type rating on Grob E aircraft and Lycoming engines
B3 licence
