Job summary

Job description
Access Arrangements Assessor – Level 7

We are seeking a qualified L7 Access Arrangements Assessor to support the effective identification and assessment of students requiring exam access arrangements. The successful candidate will contribute to high quality learning support provision, including Study Hub services, assistive technology implementation, and staff development activity.

The role is offered on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis, based at both our Nicholls and City Labs campus.

The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. We are part of the LTE group that consist of MOL, Total People, UCEN Manchester, Novus, and LTE Group Operations. Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 7 Qualification allowing you to provide Access Arrangements assessments (e.g., CPT3A, PGCert SpLD or equivalent).
  • A teaching qualification at L5 or above.
  • Understanding of learning difficulties, neurodiversity and effective inclusion strategies.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • It is desirable you have experience working in further education, delivering CPD or training to staff and knowledge of assistive technologies and study skills approaches.
