Level 3 Nursery practitioner - NG10

Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking to make a real difference in young children lives? We are currently seeking qualified Nursery practitioner to join a setting in the NG10 area. These settings are a mix of local authority, independent and school nurseries. You will be matched to a setting and role based on your location, availability, experience and preference.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, surrounded by enthusiastic colleagues and eager learners. As you will be working with young children, you will need enthusiasm, energy, a can-do attitude, understanding and support to young children who are growing and developing social, emotional and mental skills. You will need to be open to working in and outdoors amongst classes with paint, sensory activities and messy play.

As we are recruiting for a variety of settings, we have a range of roles available from full to part time, all roles are permanent roles only between a working week of Monday - Friday 8 : 30 - 17 : 30.

The pay rate varies depending on experience up to £13.50 an hour.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities as a Nursery Nurse .
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families.
Ideal Nursery Nurse
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their well-being and development.
