GSL Education are seeking a committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join nurseries in Hove.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 0–5 in their day-to-day learning and care. You will assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, fostering communication, creativity, and independence. You will work collaboratively with other practitioners, parents, and management to ensure each child receives the best possible start to their education.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to children in the nursery setting.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate learning activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
• Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to colleagues and parents.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help children develop key life skills.
• Assist with mealtimes, personal care, and daily routines.
• Support transitions and settling-in periods for new children.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure individual needs are met.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Requirements for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting as a Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
