Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton

Salary: 85-100 per day

Here at Aspire People, we are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a specialist SEN school in Northampton starting in September 2025. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning and emotional support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. Your contribution will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils in both one-to-one and small group settings
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Supporting personal care and mobility needs where required
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils
