Job Title: LEV / Validation Engineer.
Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £26k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who specialise in LEV / Validation services across Healthcare, Local Authority, Educational, and Government sites. They are now seeking to take on an LEV / Validation Engineer to cover the North East region. You will be carrying out LEV testing, validation, and maintenance, fume cupboard examinations, clean room validations and emissions testing in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. Our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme and competitive salary.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must possess the BOHS P601 qualification.
• Experience working for a reputable LEV / Validation company, working hands on as an engineer.
• Experience carrying out clean room validation is essential to the role.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

The Role

• Carrying out local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validation and maintenance.
• Emissions testing, ensuring to review and approve assessments correctly.
• Carrying out fume cupboard examinations.
• Undertaking airflow and pressure measurements.
• Microbiological air sampling.
• Conducting environmental measurements & auditing of air handling units (AHUs) and rebalancing airflows.
• Undertaking clean room validations.
• DOP and HEPA testing.
• Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical advice and support.
• Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
• Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
