Leisure Manager

Location : London

Salary : £40,000 DOE

We’re partnering with an exclusive growing family orientated private members club to recruit a hands‑on Leisure Manager to lead operations across their high‑end leisure facilities, including a fitness suite, gym, indoor / outdoor pools and studio spaces.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / General Manager / Deputy Manager who’s passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and family‑friendly environment and is seeking a role that offers growth, impact and influence within a growing brand.

The Role
  • You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience, handling queries and resolving day‑to‑day operational issues to ensure every visit feels smooth and seamless.
  • Oversee daily operations across all leisure areas, ensuring exceptional safety, cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Duty Management when required acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
  • Lead a team of lifeguards, swim teachers, fitness instructors and PTs
  • Manage pool operations, water testing, lifeguard supervision and schedules
  • Coordinate gym equipment upkeep, classes and member inductions
  • Act as department lead for health & safety, audits and incident reporting
About You
  • 3–5 years’ experience in leisure management or supervisory roles
  • Strong pool operations knowledge (water testing + plant room)
  • Pool Plant Operator Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NPLQ or strong understanding of lifeguard standards
  • Confident team leader with excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Desirable: First Aid at Work, experience with Alert 65, family leisure background, PT / fitness qualifications.
