  • Drafting legal documents, including Claim Forms, Judgments and enforcement requests.
  • Communicating with legal suppliers, drafting new instructions and maintaining in-house systems and reports.
  • Liaising with the audit team and transport teams regarding asset collection.
  • Progress chasing to ensure contributions to the objectives of the Legal Team.
  • Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents.
  • Maintaining management information reports.
  • Managing queries via email and telephone in a timely, professional manner.

Legal Support Assistant – Recoveries

Location: Blackbushe, Hybrid (3-4 days a week in the office)

Salary: £31,000 - £38,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

The Legal Support Assistant is responsible for providing excellent daily support to the Legal Manager and wider Partner Finance business areas in respect of Recoveries action, and for facilitating the completion of registered security in support of credit facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting legal documents, including Claim Forms, Judgments and enforcement requests.
  • Communicating with legal suppliers, drafting new instructions and maintaining in-house systems and reports with relevant updates.
  • Liaising with the audit team and transport teams regarding the collection of assets and with the auction team regarding the disposal of those assets.
  • Progress chasing to ensure external service providers and internal colleagues contribute to the objectives of the Legal Team.
  • Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents and correspondence.
  • Maintaining management information (MI) reports.
  • Managing internal and external queries via email and telephone in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
