I am working with a well-regarded regional law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join its established and supportive private client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and detail-oriented legal secretary to play a key role in delivering a high standard of client care within a busy private client department.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the private client team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Your responsibilities will include accurately preparing legal forms and documents, producing client correspondence from digital dictation and managing diaries and scheduling. You will act as a first point of contact for clients, handling queries with warmth and professionalism, while also managing inboxes and telephone calls, filtering and prioritising effectively. Alongside this, you will support the wider team with general administration, keeping matters progressing efficiently and accurately.
This position would suit an experienced legal secretary with a strong background in private client work. You will have a fast and accurate typing speed of around 65 words per minute or above and, ideally, experience using a case management system. You will have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy, strong planning and time-management skills and the ability to remain calm and organised when managing a busy workload. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is also required.
The firm offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience, alongside a supportive and collaborative team culture. You will have the opportunity to work on meaningful private client matters and be part of a firm that genuinely values the contribution of its support staff. This is a great opportunity for a legal secretary seeking a stable, long-term role within a respected regional firm.
