Position: Legal Secretary - Private Client / Conveyancing

If you're an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Private Client or Conveyancing - or looking to step into this area with solid legal admin experience - we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities
  • Providing essential administrative and secretarial support to fee earners
  • Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and post with professionalism and efficiency
  • Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems (digital and paper)
  • Ensuring all documentation is handled confidentially and in line with legal procedures
Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a legal administrative role
  • Ideally some exposure to Private Client or Conveyancing work
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
