Overview

Our thriving London office is looking for a Legal Secretary (18 month FTC) to join the Corporate Practice Group. You will be supporting the Corporate practice group providing secretarial and administration support. You'll be reporting into the London office Secretarial Services Manager and will be working alongside Partners, Associates and other Secretaries. Occasionally you may be expected to support other teams as required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Corporate practice group.
  • Perform heavy and complex billing tasks and reports, including finalising and sending out bills, client and matter inceptions, and understanding KYC requirements.
  • Manage diaries, support events, and handle international travel arrangements.
  • Work efficiently in a very busy team, prioritising and juggling workloads.
  • Use initiative to spot where help is needed with limited supervision.
  • Assist other departments flexibly when required.
Qualifications
  • Experienced senior secretary, preferably in Corporate, with exposure to supporting at partner level.
  • Experience of complex billing and client inceptions within a law firm, preferably Corporate.
  • Knowledge of Aderant is preferable.
  • Strong keyboard skills, good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Positive, can‑do, proactive attitude when dealing with clients and presenting a professional image.
  • Experience at secretary/PA level within a professional service firm.
