A local recruitment agency in Reigate is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary for a part-time role, offering 21 hours a week. Overview

Legal Secretary – Part time: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary, looking for a permanent part time role local to Reigate?

If you have property experience that'd be great, but they are happy to cross train someone from another legal background.

Responsibilities
  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners.
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining and updating client files and case management systems.
  • Assisting with property transactions, including Land Registry applications and SDLT forms.
About You
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary (property/conveyancing experience desirable).
  • Strong typing and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
