Overview

Salary: £55,000

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive legal secretary who thrives in a fast-paced environment?

Do you excel at providing 1st class support with precision, discretion, and efficiency? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

You will provide a wide range of secretarial and administrative support to a small team of Lawyers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to anticipate needs, and the utmost confidentiality when handling client matters.

The work week is Monday to Thursday in the office, then Friday from home. The hours are 9.30 – 5.30 and located close to Bank station

The offices are super lux and the culture is great; really entrepreneurial and fast paced and collegiate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and manage legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain calendars, deadlines, and scheduling for lawyers
  • Organise telephone calls, mail, files, and client records
  • Arrange meetings, conferences, and travel itineraries
  • Manage e-filing, inboxes, and client CRM updates
  • Handle timekeeping, expense processing, and document transcription
  • Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and administrative teams to provide seamless support
  • Uphold the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications
  • Proven legal secretarial experience in a law firm or legal setting or private equity, M&A
  • Strong command of English grammar and excellent proofreading skills
  • Typing speed of 70+ wpm (with accuracy)
  • Proficient in legal transcription, document management, and MS Office/firm software
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Professional communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Flexibility to work occasional additional hours when required
