Role Overview

This is a hands‑on, varied operational management position overseeing day‑to‑day office activity across both Romford locations. You will take responsibility for administrative leadership, staff coordination, compliance support, and ensuring the firms processes run efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations across two Romford sites, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
  • Manage administrative processes including document control, file management, archiving, and record‑keeping.
  • Support compliance obligations, including regulatory and data‑protection requirements relevant to a legal environment.
  • Provide line‑management and coordination for support staff, including workload distribution and performance support.
  • Act as a central point of contact between senior management, legal teams, and admin staff.
  • Manage office facilities: equipment, supplies, maintenance, and relationships with suppliers/contractors.
  • Handle HR‑related administration such as onboarding/offboarding, staff records, and absence tracking.
  • Assist senior leadership with operational improvements, new processes, and project‑based initiatives.
  • Provide broader administrative support where required, including diary management and client communication.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring :

  • Experience as an Office Manager, Practice Manager, or Senior Administrator within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability, capable of working across two offices and balancing competing priorities.
