Job summary

A respected legal recruitment firm is seeking a Legal Counsel in Greater London. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with over 3 years of PQE and must understand the contractual frameworks surrounding energy projects, particularly in renewables. The role involves providing commercial legal advice, negotiating and drafting agreements, and supporting the governance of transactions. Experience in negotiating bespoke agreements is preferred. Qualifications

• Must have experience in energy projects, especially renewables.
• Familiarity with hydrogen projects is useful.
• Experience in negotiating O&M agreements and industry standard contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused legal advice on various projects.
• Review, negotiate, and draft agreements with counterparties.
• Support commercial and contractual matters for ongoing projects.
• Assist in governance of transactions at local and group levels.
