A global services business is seeking a Legal Counsel in London for a 12-month contract covering maternity leave. This hybrid role involves reviewing and drafting various commercial contracts and providing business-oriented legal advice. Candidates should be qualified lawyers with a minimum of 2 years' PQE and experience in technology and IP. The position offers a salary range of £75,000 – £85,000 per annum plus bonuses and benefits.
Global services business enjoying a rapid period of international growth is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team on a 12 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week required in the office (Central London). You must be available to start by the end of January at the latest.
The position offers a broad day‑to‑day in‑house workload such as reviewing and drafting a range of contracts, including distribution contracts; technology and IP agreements; sponsorship agreements; product agreements; and general customer and supplier contracts. You will also be involved in a constant flow of business‑oriented legal advisory work, engaging with stakeholders across the organisation and beyond.
The position requires a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE (although applications from all levels will be considered on merit). You must have experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and a background with technology and IP work would be viewed favourably.
