A leading events company is seeking a diligent Legal Counsel to join their team in West London for a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role involves providing practical legal advice on a variety of issues, including commercial contracts, data privacy, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of post-qualification experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. You'll be part of a collaborative and innovative environment, working three days a week in the office.

We are offering an opportunity for a diligent and proactive lawyer to join this business as Legal Counsel on a 12 month FTC. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across the company, providing practical, business-focused legal advice on a diverse range of issues including: commercial and contractual matters; data privacy; terms & conditions of sale; and other legal matters pertinent to our international business. You will actively engage with business teams and support functions to build strong relationships and deliver relevant legal advice within a dynamic, innovative, and growing business environment.
The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating effectively at various levels within the organisation and will demonstrate a commitment to hands‑on involvement in day‑to‑day legal tasks. This position offers a highly commercial environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your legal skills and business acumen.
You should be a proactive, self‑aware legal professional with a keen understanding of business objectives, able to communicate legal issues and potential risks clearly and effectively to the team. Strong foundational contract drafting skills, a strategic approach to problem‑solving, commercial insight, and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues across the company are essential for success in this role.
