Are you a commercially minded solicitor looking to make an impact in a fast‑growing technology environment?
We're seeking a Legal Counsel to join an ambitious, innovative scale‑up operating at the forefront of technology solutions, on a global basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in‑house, partnering with diverse teams across the organisation to deliver strategic legal support that drives ambitious business growth.
As Legal Counsel, you will advise and support on a broad range of commercial and contractual matters, providing timely legal advice across commercial operations, procurement, disputes, data protection, compliance, and IP law.
You will help draft and negotiate complex technology agreements, including end‑user and supplier contracts across the EU and US markets, and you will provide bid & tender support to the business development and customer renewals teams.
In addition, you will work closely and collaboratively with risk, compliance, and operational teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
Applications are encouraged from solicitors with 1-3 years' PQE in commercial law, ideally with exposure to technology, SaaS, IP, procurement, and/or data protection. Strong drafting and dette negotiation skills are essential.
Previous experience of working with SaaS or other technology companies is beneficial, although existing in‑house experience is not a prerequisite.
Exposure or familiarity with wider company commercial matters, such as company secretarial or share options, is desirable but not essential.
As well as your base salary, you will receive Share Options worth c. 15/20% of salary (at present), 25 days + your birthday off, access to the Employee Assistance Program, extensive training and upskilling opportunities, employee perks and discounts, company pension, and opportunities to work abroad up to 4 weeks per annum.
The company office is in Greater Manchester with hybrid – 3 days in the office – and flexible working available.
You'll be part of a dynamic dana‑forward‑thinking organisation where legal plays a critical role in shaping strategy and enabling growth. If you thrive on ownership, adaptability, and tackling varied legal challenges, this is the role for you.
