At GWI we’re looking for a Legal Counsel to play a key role in our Legal team in London. If you’re motivated by making a difference, this could be the start of something extraordinary.
Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact for commercial contracts at GWI.
- Drive proactive management and execution of contracts, including client contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
- Lead the contracts management process in collaboration with legal operations and Revenue teams.

What you’ll bring
- Qualification to practice law in the UK with at least 3 years PQE as a commercial/technology lawyer.
- in-house experience (ideally in a high-growth technology company) or in a commercial legal department of a leading law firm.
- Business-first legal mindset: balance risk management with commercial agility to enable pragmatic contracting that supports revenue goals and client relationships.
- Bias for action: proactive in driving details forward and improving legal processes, playbooks, and templates to support scalable growth.
- Communication skills: ability to negotiate and communicate with various stakeholders inside and outside the business.
- Attitude: think big, ask why, and show respect to everyone at all levels. These values are central to our culture.
Interview steps
- Preliminary phone call with the Talent Team (no video required).
- First video interview with the hiring managers.
- Second (final) video interview with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with members of the wider GWI community.
