A leading housing association in Basingstoke is looking for a Legal Advisor to join their in-house Legal Team. This hybrid role involves managing your own caseload of legal cases and providing administrative support. Candidates should have knowledge of property transactions and strong communication skills. Due to expansion, we're pleased to have an opportunity for a Legal Advisor to join our in-house Legal Team in Basingstoke. This is a hybrid working role with 2 days per week in the office.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for your own caseload of legal cases, as well as providing project and administrative support to the legal counsels and senior legal counsel. Your work will be varied and will include:
What we need from you
To be successful in this busy role you\'ll need to have previous experience working within a legal firm or other in-house environment.
Ideally, you\'ll have experience from within housing or a local authority but it\'s not essential if you have an understanding of conveyancing or property portfolios. You\'ll also need:
You will have a qualification in property law or an equivalent level of knowledge gained from employment. You might have a law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law or have completed / be in the process of studying the Legal Practice Course or pursuing a qualification as a member of CILEX or a similar body.
