Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time weekday & some evening & weekend teaching required

Your Impact

As a Lecturer, you’ll do more than teach—you’ll empower students to succeed. You’ll design and deliver engaging modules aligned with British Psychological Society (BPS) standards, mentor students through research projects, and contribute to innovative curriculum development. Your expertise will help shape careers and influence the future of health and social care.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver interactive lectures and tutorials across undergraduate Psychology and Health & Social Care programmes.
  • Teaching will include weekdays, evenings, and weekends to support flexible learning.
  • Create and refine curriculum content to meet professional standards.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development through mentoring and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on quality assurance and accreditation processes.
  • Engage in research and scholarship to advance your field.
What We’re Looking For
  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology (Master’s or PhD desirable).
  • Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS.
  • Experience teaching Psychology and/or Health & Social Care at Levels 3–6.
  • Passion for inclusive, student-centred learning.
Desirable
  • HEA membership and a teaching qualification.
  • Research experience or strong potential for scholarly contribution.
