Job summary

A local educational institution in Norwich is looking for a Lecturer in Plumbing and Heating. You will teach and assess Apprentices, developing the next generation in the Plumbing sector. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Plumbing sector and relevant qualifications. This full-time role offers a salary between £33,550 and £40,073 per annum.

Overview

Lecturer in Plumbing and Heating

Full time 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £33,550 - £40,073 per annum

Responsibilities

Teach and assess Apprentices and provide IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) where applicable. Support the development of the next generation of Apprentices in the Plumbing and Heating sector. Be a confident communicator who is people focused, able to build relationships quickly, and capable of strong organisation, IT skills and self-reliance.

Qualifications and requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in the Plumbing sector
  • Level 3 Plumbing Qualification or above
  • Ideally an Assessor Award or Teaching Qualification and/or IQA qualification
  • If you do not have a teaching or assessing qualification, this is offered as part of your development
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
