Job Title: Lecturer – Media

Location: East London

Hours: 36 hours (1.0FTE)

Salary: £28,424 - £44,457 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Teach on a range of Level 1‑3 Creative Media study programmes, including T Levels in Media, Production & Broadcasting.
  • Contribute to the teaching programme of the College, including Levels 1, 2 and 3 in line with Awarding body specifications.
  • Take on general curriculum responsibilities, including assessments, tracking student achievement and administration of courses.
  • Deliver outstanding teaching, support learners to succeed, and develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the College meets the needs of learners and that support is innovative and responsive to emerging trends and needs.
  • Use information systems and databases to manage learner information and course delivery.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant subject area such as 2D Animation, 3D Animation, VFX, TV/Video Production, etc.
  • Ideally have a teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve one.
  • Knowledge of a range of vocational related topics.
  • Experience delivering outstanding teaching, supporting learners to succeed and developing positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience of using information systems and databases.
