A leading education provider in the South-East is seeking a Lecturere in English. This full-time role involves delivering effective teaching programs focused on developing independent learners. Candidates should ideally have a level 3 qualification in English and a teaching qualification, with experience in curriculum development and supporting learners. Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join our Slough & Langley College team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Lecturer in English, you will be joining our Ofsted Rated Good Colleges Group delivering effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression. Working closely with Specialist Learning Coaches you will assist learners facing barriers to learning and assist them in breaking through and removing these barriers to ensure high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement by engaging in the assessment of learners from application, progression, setting targets and milestones, providing necessary support where necessary.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a level 3 or higher qualification in English as well as a recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards within the first 2 years in role. Experience and knowledge of ongoing curriculum development and managing the learning process as well as the ability to demonstrate successful experience in supporting learners to high achievement.
