Lecturer, Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (Business School, University of Edinburgh)

Grade UE08: £50,253 – £61,759 per annum

Full-time: 35 hours per week – Permanent, open-ended

Responsibilities

Deliver and design teaching across undergraduate, masters and executive education levels, both on‑campus and online, with a focus on courses in AI for business, digital/AI innovation and innovation management. Contribute to the Business School’s MSc Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Business, the MSc Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the wider on‑campus and online portfolio. Plan, develop and assess courses, including leading the development of new degree programmes where appropriate. Actively supervise research students, supervise dissertations and engage in research supervision and teaching excellence activities. Design and implement instructional courses both online and on‑campus, ensuring high quality delivery, assessment and student support. Maintain research activity, publish in high‑quality journals, attend international conferences, secure funding through grant applications and consultancy projects. Engage effectively with policy makers, practitioners and non‑academic stakeholders to promote the research and teaching impact of the group.
