Job Details

Salary: £25,066 - £29,024 per annum (pro-rata of £41,220 - £47,728 per annum)

Employment type: Permanent

Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)

Reporting into: Programme Lead

Department: Psychology (DL)

Employment model: Remote working arrangement, little to no travel to Coventry head office or Campus locations. The Arden work location is added to employment contracts.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Lecturer in Business Psychology to join our Postgraduate Team. You will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures online for our students.
  • Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.
  • Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high‑quality feedback.
  • Lead or support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students.
  • Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.

* Days of the week are negotiable.

About You

To be successful as a Lecturer in Business Psychology you must have:

  • An MSc or equivalent formal qualification in Psychology, and be recognised by the BPS as having a Graduate Basis for Chartership.
  • Experience in current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices, and the ability to bring your knowledge and understanding to Arden to grow our programmes and provide excellent student outcomes.
  • Evidence of successful experience of working in programme teams and of being a creative and inspiring lecturer and colleague.
  • Experience or knowledge in Business or Occupational Psychology.
  • Experience teaching research methods, particularly in business psychology is an advantage.
  • Experience in dissertation supervision, particularly in business psychology is an advantage.
