A well-regarded educational institution in the UK is seeking a passionate Lecturer/Assessor in Plumbing & Gas. This role involves teaching full-time students and assessing Level 3 apprentices in their workplaces. Candidates should have a strong background in the Plumbing and Gas trade, possess relevant qualifications, and demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. Competitive Salary
37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individual to teach full‑time students from levels 1–3 and to assess Level 3 Plumbing & Gas Apprentices. As an assessor you will be responsible for the timely delivery and completion of the NVQ element with our Level 3 Apprenticeship qualifications. This job role will include visiting apprentices on site/in their workplace to assess their competence and ability in their trade to contribute to successful achievement of their Apprenticeship.
You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative. For this role you need excellent knowledge and a passion for the Plumbing and Gas trade, and high‑quality practice. You must hold a relevant Plumbing and Gas qualification and have proven experience of working within the sector, with current CPD. Preferably you will be qualified or working towards an Assessors and/or Internal Verifiers qualification. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
You will receive a high standard of support regarding induction and the assessor role.
